This notice describes the public frontend implemented here. Account and garden-data processing will need a separate, updated description before accounts are enabled.
Language preference
If you select a language, this website stores that preference in your browser’s local storage under gardenhub-language. It is used to remember your choice on later visits. It is not an account or a tracking identifier.
At the unprefixed homepage, browser language can select English, German or Spanish when no manual preference exists. You can change the language or clear the stored preference through your browser.
Accounts, forms and tracking
This frontend has no functioning account, access-request or password-reset service. Its disabled account interfaces do not submit information. It adds no advertising trackers, analytics scripts or authentication cookies.
This describes the website code, not a claim that a future hosting provider keeps no technical records.
When you contact GardenHub
If you send an email, the information you choose to include is used to respond to your enquiry. The published contact address is a Gmail address. Avoid sending passwords or unnecessary personal information.
Email handling, retention and applicable service-provider processing must be documented more fully in the final production notice. No retention period is asserted here.
Hosting and pending production facts
Cloudflare is the selected deployment target for the public static frontend; this implementation has not been deployed. Actual hosting records, processing locations, retention, backups and any international transfers must be confirmed before publication.
Future account services may process email, password hashes, language, garden settings, precise garden coordinates, layouts, plants, weather, history and feedback. Those services are not implemented by this website and are not described as currently active.
Database, authentication, transactional email, weather and geocoding providers have not been selected for this frontend. Their processing, security and retention must be documented before public accounts are enabled.
Privacy and data requests
Contact gardenhub.dev@gmail.com to request access to, correction of or deletion of personal information where applicable. Automated self-service export and deletion are not available here.
GardenHub is initially operated from Switzerland. Final production privacy information must reflect applicable Swiss requirements and any additional requirements relevant to the actual service.
